Reproductive Freedom Support and Resources

In the times we are living in here in the United States, it seems not only appropriate but necessary to pull together resources in this space on the critical topic of reproductive freedoms.

In early 2023, I suffered a miscarriage. Through my tears, the first words out of my mouth to my doctor were “I’m so glad I live in Minnesota.” in response to an internal, quick moment of panic of if I would have access to the appropriate medical options because at the time, mifepristone and misoprostol were under question in the US. In my prior state of Tennessee, I’m still unclear to this day if I would’ve been able to have the appropriate prescription at that time. Since the Roe v. Wade overturn in 2022, things were already unsettling in a new way. In experiencing pregnancy for nine weeks only to be met with a loss, my passion for advocating for reproductive rights was ignited.

Tarot was a helpful tool then and, as we see our rights being under constant attack with a bleak outlook given the 2024 Election, tarot or simple introspection with intention can be helpful now.

If you’re feeling mad, afraid, emblazoned, crippled, attacked, depressed, empowered or any other all-consuming emotions (perhaps multiple all at once), ask yourself - or consult the tarot cards in a reading - thoughtful questions for internal understanding and tangible, actionable direction you can take.
